Matthew chapter 5 through 8 King james. These questions are not from one spefic Bible.
But the verses are suppose to have the same general meaning and most of the time they are from the King James verson or the Holy Bible.

Question 1: Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But i say unto you?

Only hate your enemy.
Only hate your enemy that you know will not forgive you.
Bless them that curse you.
Hate them that curse you.

Pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
Never give in and try to be friends to those who despitefully use you.
Never give in to those who despitefully persecute you. Never pray for them.
Because they use you or persecute you. Never pray for them.

Question 3: Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them.

This means make sure when you do good for someone. Be sure you tell everyone about it to get credit from them.
When you show and display to everyone all your help you have done you will be rewarded in heaven.
Take heed God will not know all the good you have done unless you show everyone about and display it in public.

Question 4: Choose the best answer for the underline blank. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, _________________________.

Pray so that only good people can see.
Pray in public so that you can be rewarded by other watching and seeing you pray.
Enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret.
Getting the attention of as many people is best if you would like to be rewarded in heaven.

Question 7: Choose the best answer for the underline blank. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of ______________________.

Question 9: And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. How did the centurion reply.

The centurion said. Yes follow me to my house where you can heal my servant.
The centurion said. Wait here and i will bring my servant to you so you can heal him.
The centurion said. How do you know my servant is worthy to be healed.
The centurion said. Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof.

Question 10: The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof but speak the word only and my servant shall be healed. How did Jesus reply to his followers.


Jesus, said. Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Jesus, said. Why does he mock me and then ask me to do a miracle if he knows he is not worthy.
Jesus, said. No i will not help a centurion.
Jesus, told his followers this centurion has admitted he is not worthy.
